“COLD” is heavily influenced by folk songwriting legend Sixto Rodriguez, a favorite songwriter/poet of JJ ROOTS and is also musically inspired by their favorite guitar finger-picking stylist, Tommy Emmanuel.

With "COLD", Jocelyn & Jeff wanted to bring to light the difficulties faced by the homeless population across the globe that continues to grow due to the mitigating factors of financial inequality, substance abuse, and mental illness.

COLD was recorded at Trillium House Studio and produced by renowned award-winning producer/engineer, Paul Milner.
